Windsor seniors home wraps residents in tight safety 'bubble'
Cardinal Place has all but cut itself off from the outside world in an effort to keep its vulnerable residents from the deadly coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe
Cardinal Place was featured in an article in the Windsor Star highlighting the measures the retirment home has taken to keep its members safe from the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The safety precautions mean no visitors for the 65 residents currently living at Cardinal Place. Also, there's no going out except for essential medical appointments like dialysis or other treatments. Even then, an on-site nurse must give “very explicit permission” .
In addition, there are heightened safety protocols that must be followed during transportation and at the destination.
