SMART INDEPENDENT LIVING

Our rooms and rates INCLUDE plenty of practical services and features that often incur extra charges at other homes. Our rates include phone, long distance, emergency pendant, WIFI internet and, most of all, professional medical administration. That means, with “Smart Independent Living”, a Registered Practical Nurse will manage and bring you your medication at no extra charge. No more forgetting to take your medicine. As a bonus, you are being seen regularly by a professional should you develop unhealthy symptoms.

Assisted Living at Cardinal Place Retirement Home Windsor

SMART ASSISTED LIVING

Cardinal Place is capable of serving you beyond what is provided by the Provincial healthcare system. You keep your room at the “Smart Independent Living” rate - you don't have to move. You simply add the Cardinal Care Level or individual care service you need.

Cardinal Care Levels are based on the approximate amount of time care is needed per day. This starts at 30 minutes and increases by periods of 30 minutes. There is also the option of an individual service like an extra bath assist per week. Whatever extra care you need, Cardinal Place will bill at the lowest option in your favour. If your extra care needs are temporary, when your needs decrease again, so do your costs.

Over time, your needs may increase. We will monitor this and discuss with you when the time is right to move on to the next Cardinal Care Level. The cost will increase going forward, so there are no unexpected cost increases for you or your family.

Assistance with two baths per week

Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing (morning and evening)

Weekly laundry of clothing and personal linens
Therapeutic diets on authorization of physician
Complimentary Tray Service to suite during illness with physician's order

Optional Care Services (à la carte)

Cardinal Place offers a range of optional services. You may choose to use these services occasionally when needed on a pay-per-use basis.
